Meeting desalination needs in water-scarce regions
Customers in water-scarce regions find that the Seawater Reverse Osmosis (SWRO) Series from GE solves their need for desalination while optimizing operating costs. The SWRO Series covers a range of customer applications, including:
 |
Boiler feed water make-up |
 |
Irrigation water |
 |
Plant process make-up water |
 |
Small community potable water demand |
We understand your water requirements, analyze your water source and perform a cost-benefit analysis to design and integrate a solution that will best meet your needs. Our advanced energy recovery system reduces energy costs while ensuring high quality water. In addition, our approach to SWRO provides a customized solution that uses standard building blocks. Our SWRO platform includes:
SeaPRO and SeaPRO-E Series:
Flow rates: 100-2,500 m3/day (20-460 gpm)
The SeaPRO Series consists of small- to medium-size skid-mounted platforms of seawater RO systems and ancillary equipment. They are fully engineered for quick delivery and provide a number of standard options and customization capabilities. The SeaPRO-E Series is an economical design derivative of the SeaPRO offering.
SeaTECH Series:
Flow rates: 163-3,000 m3/day (30-550 gpm)
The SeaTECH Series consists of small- to medium-size containerized platforms of seawater RO systems and ancillary equipment. These units are designed to operate inside a container. They are fully engineered for quick delivery and provide a number of standard options and customization capabilities.
SeaSMART Series:
Flow rates: 5-100 MLD (1.3-27 MGD)
The SeaSMART is a pre-engineered concept for seawater RO systems, to be integrated into projects larger than 5 MLD (1.3 MGD) or 5,000 m3/day (920 gpm).
